Ribera Del Duero, Spain – 100% Tempranillo – 14.5% ABV
Cold maceration for three days, alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28ºC for 7 to 10 days and post-fermentative maceration for seven to 10 days. 50% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels.
AGING 18 months in French oak barrels.
Very dark, deep garnet color. Its long ageing contributes all kinds of tertiary aromas, a highly complex range with descriptors like leather, animal notes, game meat, tobacco leaves, graphite and smoke. Aromas of black fruit and very ripe or candied red fruit are also present. e body is very unctuous and persistent, with great density and excellent volume in the mouth. It is a wine with present tannins, but they are very round.

Ribera Del Duero, Spain – 100% Tempranillo – 14.0% ABV
The fermentation took place in concrete tanks at a temperature of no more than 26ºC to maximize the concentration of primary and secondary aromas. Six months’ ageing in American oak barrels from the north of the Appalachians (70%) and French oak from forests in central France (30%.) Aged in the bottle for at least 10 months.
Colour. Clean and bright, intensely coloured, deep cherry red. Intense aromas of red fruit and strawberry-cream candies in harmony with smoky notes. It is balanced and well-structured on the nose, with evident fruit throughout evolving into enveloping tannins that give the wine an extraordinary finesse. It has an interesting persistence on the finish, with generous textures on the palate.
2021 Bodegas LAN / LAN a Mano – 97 points Vivir El Vino
Rioja, Spain – 75% Tempranillo, 17% Graciano, 6% Garnacha, 2% Mazuelo – 13.5% ABV
Hand harvested with a double selection table. Alcoholic fermentation in small truncated-cone shaped stainless steel tanks and malolactic conversion in new French oak barrels with weekly lees-stirring. 13 months ageing in French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Jupille forests and 4 months in Caucasian oak barrels.
Deep garnet with dark highlights. Notes of black fruit, such as blackberries, blueberries and ripe plum, with spicy hints of clove and cinnamon, followed by toasted notes that meld into the fruit and the characteristic minerality of the Viña Lanciano terroir. Powerful, broad and well-structured, with smooth tannins that blend with the fruity notes, leaving a long and pleasant finish.
