Tasting notes | COLOUR -Lovely, brilliant, intense ruby red colour with purple highlights NOSE – Very intense, laden with wild red berries like rosehip and Chilean guava that give way to plum and cherry, with nicely integrated notes of coffee and black tobacco imparted by ageing in French oak barrels PALATE – Starts out fresh and juicy Delicious acidity on the palate, refreshing and rich, with a good sensation of volume The structure is elegant despite noticeable tannins, and the finish is long and very persistent The wine reveals the potent, elegant character of Chilean Carignan from the coastal dryland vineyards of the Maule Valley (Secano Costero) |
