Tasting notes | Colour: Brilliant, intense ruby-red with purple highlights. Nose: Very intense and fruity, with notes of black fruit like blackberry, blackcurrant and fig as well as dried fruit such as prune and dried cherry, mingled with delicate spicy notes of black pepper and rosemary and well-integrated hints of toffee and coffee thanks to ageing in French oak barrels. Palate: An elegant wine which starts out seductive on the palate, with excellent viscosity and good balance between acidity, sweetness and smoothness. The elegant structure is underpinned by a silky texture. Fruity aromas such as blueberry follow through to the aftertaste, accompanied by excellent acidity, making for a long and persistent finish. |
